MAKARIA ELIXABETE aka Marissa Macias is a singer, performer, recording artist, songwriter, model, filmmaker, actor, producer and director.

Her first album titled "Ritmo De Mi Vida" was released in 2014 and re-released in 2021. She began her career singing exclusively in Spanish, performing for the latino market. She sings and performs latin-pop, pop, dance, eclectic, and ballads in both English and in Spanish.

Makaria has been inspired since childhood by the musical and vocal excellence of Luis Miguel, an international Latin icon. Her father, Ernesto Macias, began a music career in the late 1980's and Makaria was also inspired to pursue music due to his influence.

MAKARIA's singles "This Could Be Love" - "I Love You But Can't You See" - "Jump The Lava Hot With Fire" - "Twin Flame" - "LA My Kind of Place (cover remake)- "Like A Bottle of Liquor" - "Twilight World" (cover remake) - were completed and released in 2022.

She completed the final material for her second album in mid 2023, titled"Making Makaria." This album was named to highlight the change of her stage name from Marissa Macias to Makaria Elixabete at the urging of her producer and with the arrival of new music.

The end of 2023 saw the release of a single; Makaria's English release of an old cover song originally done in Spanish, now titled"Don't Lie To Me Corazon."

2024 has brought the release of her new original songs "Let Me Tell You Something" and "Perdoname," "Fixation," as well as an English remake of the Luis Miguel song "Dame" now titled in English"Give Me," and rounding out the end of the year with one more original song single and music video production titled "Rise Above."

In 2025 Makaria has been working to complete three new songs "Loved You Once Before" and "Hurts Even Still," along with an English remake of the hit Luis Miguel song "Si Te Vas" translated to "If you go." These new songs, along with the productions of the previous year, will mark the finalization of Makaria's third album to be release later in 2025.
